Setting up a sattalite?

Hello guys

I moved to a new house in Hamilton Ontario, the old owner of the house left a satellite dish that is mounted low and faces the south and a littlie bit to the west.
I have with me a pc receiver (twinhan visionplus) that I bought from a foreign country.
I connected the dish that has the LNB with it to the receiver in order to program the receiver I will need a satellite name.
Dose any body knows the satellite name or how do I set it up? And do I get free channels or all of them will be scrambled?
If the channels scrambled what’s the best satellite to point my dish at to get allots of free channels?
Put in mind that I live in Hamilton Ontario
