RCA unveils EZ300HD
RCA has just announced a new addition to the ever growing pocket camcorder market. The latest model is dubbed the EZ300HD and as the name implies it offers HD quality recording at 720p. The EZ300HD features a 2.4-inch LCD and has 2GB of internal storage that can be expanded through the available SD card slot. Similar to the other pocket camcorders available today, the EZ300HD also includes a video out for direct hookup to a television and a YouTube mode for easy uploads. An exact release date has not been announced, other than it will be available soon. Once available, it will retail for $159.99. For the style of shooting that these pocket camcorders typically handle, I would say that HD quality recording is not really needed but still a nice option to have just in case. If nothing else this EZ300HD should offer somecompetition to the Kodak Zi6.

I have a RCA digital TV and a Toshiba DVD player with Direct TV. Can anyone make the connections simple.?
What is connected to what simply? It's just a little confusing the way some people explain it to a laymen. I have a coaxial & a S video cable plus 2 sets of red & white in & output cables.
Connect the Direct TV sattelite input to the RF coaxial on the TV, ( if it has more than one RF connectors, use the one marked digital or SAT for best results) Connect the DVD player to the TV using the S-Video and use the red and white for audio. It can't be done any other way.
(Assuming the TV has an S-VIDEO input and the DVD has S-Video out - if the TV only has Video (yellow) in, use that, the S-Video connection is no longer being automatically included on newer sets.)
