how do i install a sky plus box when i already have 1 sky plus box and 2 regular sky boxes?

we already have a quad LNB splitter on my sky dish, i don't know whether i can put a three one into the quad or if i need to buy a 6 one, or if i need to get an 8 one when my brother is considering getting a sky plus box. also, the box i got came with all the cables, but nothing that goes into an lnb or an installation guide, i can figure out the basic stuff but connecting it to the dish is eluding me! any help would be greeeeatly appreciated!

Oh ok, here we go...

Firstly, you have a quad LNB, it is by no means split. It is 4 LNB's in the same unit.
You seem to understand the basics, but i'll say a single sky box (no recording) you need 1 port from your LNB. For Sky+ you need 2 ports.

You need an 8 port LNB.

You could loose the 2 regular sky boxes, and run 2 cables to your new plus box.
Remember you will need to connect this to your phone line too to continue with your sky contract.

You could go with a bigger dish and 2x4 port LNB, or even 2 dishes, but not allowed under most council regulations.
